This web site identifies reference numbers (i.e. ERP-2-xxxx) assigned to Emergency Response Assistance Plans (ERAPs) approved by Transport Canada in accordance with Part 7 of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations. The ERAPs are approved by Transport Canada for specific dangerous goods, transported in identified types of containers, over a given geographical area. The approval reflects the existence of a certified capability to provide assistance to first responders at the time of a transportation incident involving these dangerous goods.

Inclusion of the reference number issued by Transport Canada in this guide does not give or imply endorsement of the overall capability by individual contractors as part of the claimed capability may lie outside the scope of the ERAP system.
